Lode Runner is an exhilarating game that presents you with the ultimate challenge of outsmarting your enemies while navigating treacherous platforms. Equipped with ropes, ladders, and the power to drill through floors, your mission is to amass vast riches scattered throughout the game's terrain.
The controls in Lode Runner resemble those of popular handheld consoles like the Game Boy and Nintendo DS. On one side of the screen, you'll find the directional joystick, while the A and B buttons are conveniently placed on the opposite side. Similar to these beloved consoles, you'll also find the Start, Select, and a button to return to the main screen, all neatly located on the left side.
Before each round begins, you'll have the opportunity to select the number of players, allowing for thrilling multiplayer action with up to two participants. Utilize your ingenuity to either eliminate or evade your adversaries by strategically digging holes. But be cautious, as falling into one of these holes will spell immediate game over.
